Understand the Learmo Creator Journey

See the full path from signing up for Beta access to having your first student enrolled, and understand what happens at each step.

Note: The course creation screens currently show "Product" in some places (breadcrumbs, buttons). This is the same as Course. This article uses the current term Course throughout.

The Learmo creator journey takes you from a blank account to a fully live course business. Each step builds on the last, and Learmo's AI tools handle most of the groundwork so you can focus on your content and your students.

Here is the complete path, in order.

Step 1: Get Beta Access

Learmo is currently in Beta and available by invitation only. Open the invitation email from Learmo and select your personal registration link. On the registration page, you create your account with your first name, last name, and email address. The form reveals the remaining steps as you go: setting your password and agreeing to the Terms of Service.

  • No email verification is required before you can proceed.

  • Once you submit, Learmo takes you straight into the AI Onboarding Wizard.

  • Verification shows up later: once your Learning Hub is live, a banner appears at the top of your Dashboard prompting you to confirm your account.

Step 2: Complete the AI Onboarding Wizard

The AI Onboarding Wizard launches immediately after sign-up and sets up your Learning Hub in just a few minutes.

  • Hub concept. You describe your Learning Hub, your target audience, and your goals. The AI uses these to generate a foundation for your Learning Hub content.

  • Identity. You give your Learning Hub a name, a subdomain on learmosites.com, and a tagline.

  • Branding. You choose a color palette and upload a logo, or use an auto-generated placeholder.

  • Instructor Profile. Name, role, avatar, and a bio the AI can write for you.

  • Business and Legal Details. Contact email, business address, and refund period. The AI generates your Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Terms of Use from this.

  • Home Page banner. AI-generated in a style you choose, or a custom image you upload.

Once you submit everything, Learmo sets up your domain, builds your Home Page, and takes your Learning Hub live. You land on a "Your Hub is Live" confirmation, then go straight to your Dashboard.

Step 3: Customize Your Home Page

Your Home Page is the public face of your Learning Hub, and the first thing a visitor sees. It needs to answer three questions fast: what this is, who it's for, and what to do next.

In your Dashboard, go to Website in the top navigation, open Pages, and under System Pages select Homepage, then click Edit (the pencil icon). This takes you into the Page Builder, where you can add, remove, reorder, hide, or customize any section using the Content and Style tabs.

  • Hero. The first thing visitors see: headline, subheadline, visuals, and your primary call-to-action.

  • About. Your story, mission, and background, what positions you as the right person to learn from.

  • Instructor. Your name, title, bio, photo, and credibility.

  • Featured Courses. Showcases your main or featured courses so visitors can find them fast.

  • Gift Course. Displays a free or gift course, useful for lead generation.

  • Features, Steps, and Skills. Communicates your value through benefits, your process, and the outcomes learners walk away with.

  • Testimonials and Trust Indicators. Social proof: student results, credibility markers, and success numbers.

  • Guarantee. Your refund and risk-reversal messaging.

  • FAQ. Answers to common visitor questions.

  • Final CTA. The closing headline, message, and button that pushes visitors to act.

The AI Onboarding Wizard pre-populates most of this for you, so you're editing and refining, not starting from zero.

Step 4: Create Your Course

From your Dashboard, go to Courses and select Create Course to start the AI Course Creation Wizard. This turns a course idea into a full, structured course.

  • Choose your creation mode. Pick Manual Mode for full control over every detail, or AI-Assisted Mode (recommended) for AI-generated suggestions throughout.

  • Describe your course idea. In one or two sentences, outline the topic, goals, and audience. Learmo AI uses this to start ideation.

  • Refine your course foundations. Review and edit the AI-generated Course Idea, Target Audience, and Course Goals. Each field can be regenerated, edited manually, or reverted using the retry, edit, undo, and redo controls.

  • Craft your course identity. Set your Course Title, Subtitle/Tagline, and Course Description, each with the same generate, edit, and retry controls.

  • Define course details. Add Instructors, Category, Difficulty Level, Estimated Duration, and Language.

  • Create your course cover image. Generate a cover with Learmo AI, choosing a style and describing what you want, or upload your own. Preview it before continuing.

  • Outline your course curriculum. Set the number of modules and lessons per module (Learmo recommends 5-10 modules with 3-5 lessons each), and optionally add a summary module for review and assessment. A live Course Overview panel shows your total modules, lessons, and estimated duration as you adjust these.

  • Finalize your course. Choose what Learmo AI should generate automatically. Craft Landing/Sales Page Content is required for every course. Craft Lessons Content, Set Course as Free, Show as a Gift Course, and Show as a Featured Course are optional.

Selecting Finalize & Create Course starts Learmo initializing your course: crafting your Sales Page content, building your course outline, and preparing your Thank You Page.

Step 5: Customize Your Sales Page

Every course gets its own Sales Page, the page where a potential student decides whether to enroll. In your Dashboard, go to Courses, choose the course you want to edit, open the Funnel and Go Live tab, and select Sales Page.

The Sales Page Builder gives you eleven editable sections:

  • Hero. Headline, subtitle, course image or video, and your primary call-to-action.

  • About Course. A clear summary of what the course covers and what it's about.

  • Problem and Promise. The learner's problem, and the transformation the course promises.

  • What You'll Learn. Outcomes, benefits, and key skills students will gain.

  • Curriculum Preview. Your modules and lessons, auto-synced from the Curriculum Builder so it stays current without manual updates.

  • Instructor Bio. Builds trust by showing who's teaching.

  • Testimonials. Student feedback, results, and credibility quotes.

  • Bonuses. Extra resources, templates, or sessions included with the course.

  • Money-Back Guarantee. Refund confidence, aligned with your refund policy.

  • FAQ. Answers to common buyer questions about access, pricing, and format.

  • Final Call-to-Action. The closing push to enroll.

Edit each section directly, or use the Visual Editor for a live preview as you work.

Step 6: Set Pricing, Configure Your Thank You Page, and Go Live

Just like in Step 5, go to Courses, choose your course, and open the Funnel and Go Live tab. From there, it walks you through four sequential steps before your course goes public:

  1. Sales Page

  2. Pricing. Set your course price and payment structure.

  3. Thank You Page. What students see right after enrolling. Customize the title, subtitle, and success message to set the tone for what comes next.

  4. Go Live

Once all four show as Completed, activate Go Live and your course becomes available for enrollment.

Step 7: Student Enrollment

Once your course is live, here is what a visitor experiences on their way to becoming one of your students.

  • Discover your Learning Hub. A visitor lands on your public Learning Hub homepage and browses your Featured Courses.

  • View the course Sales Page. They open a course's Sales Page to review the details, curriculum, and pricing before deciding to enroll.

  • Complete checkout. Choosing to enroll takes them to a secure checkout page, powered by Stripe, where they enter their account information and payment details.

  • Land on the Thank You Page. After payment, they see your customized Thank You Page confirming their purchase and pointing them toward next steps.

  • Set up their account. From there, they complete a short setup: set a password, then optionally fill in profile info (photo, name, bio). This step can be skipped and finished later.

  • Arrive at My Dashboard. Once setup is complete, they land on their own My Dashboard, showing courses enrolled, completion rate, lessons completed, and a My Courses library where they can start learning. This is a student-side page, distinct from your own Dashboard as a creator.
